Last weekend we participated at the Dutch championshipclubshow. This year there was an entry of 137 tollers. We have competed with Tango, Joppe, Luna, Dawn and Maece.
Tango is turning 13 in November but still got the highest qualication: excellent and a 2nd place in veteranclass. Joppe also had an excellent but didn't belong to the best 4 in open class. Luna was 3rd in championclass with excellent. Dawn got a 3rd place in breeders class with very good.
For Maece it was her first show. She got a nice report but the lowest qualification (less promising) because she has rear dew claws. In Holland it is forbidden to remove dew claws and judges have been instructed not to degrade a dog because of dew claws. Unfortunately our judge didn't remember the instruction when she was judging.
In the ring of honour we won a very nice 2nd place in progenyclass with Joppe and 4 of his offspring: Job, Rico, Lynn and Maece. The picture gives an impression of the day.
