Over zo'n vijf weken (eind juli) hopen we de pups van Peggy en Joppe te verwelkomen. Tijdens de echo gisteren waren meerdere vruchtjes zichtbaar. Peggy was bij haar vorige nest een geweldige moeder en we kijken er ook enorm naar uit om opnieuw pups van Joppe te hebben.
Alsof het zo moest zijn, kreeg Tinus op de terugweg van de echo een Facebook-herinnering. Gisteren was het precies 14 jaar geleden dat Joppe aankwam in Nederland. Een mooi en bijzonder moment dat deze dag nog specialer maakte.
Het gehele traject rond de inseminatie is deskundig begeleid door Dierenarts Bregje en haar team in Eersel. We zijn hen dankbaar voor hun betrokkenheid en expertise.

We received the sad news that Joep passed away from cancer at the age of 9. Joep's full name is Devoted to You Under the Red Sky; he was a son of Luna and Olie and a brother of our Splash. He had a wonderful life with his owners. We would have wished them so many more beautiful years together, but sadly it was not meant to be.

We hope to have puppies from Peggy again this summer. And we've chosen a special father: our own Joppe. We miss this wonderful dog every day and, sadly had to say goodbye to his daughter Susie far too young. So when we started thinking about a second litter from Peggy, the choice was easy. Given their ancestors, we expect puppies that are eager to work with an outgoing temperament. This combination complies with the breedingregulations of the Dutch tollerclub.
It will be a litter conceived through artificial insemination. This will be our first time and we're curious to see how it goes. The successrate with artificial insemination is somewhat lower and we anticipate a small(er) litter. Therefore, we're not currently accepting applications for puppies. In any case, we will give priority to those who have previously had a toller from us.
